KIP is our primary line. KIP wide format printers are built for production environments where reliability and print speed matter. We stock units on-site and can configure ink, media, and finishing options to your workflow.
HP DesignJet plotters are widely used in architecture and engineering offices. We sell new units and certified refurbished models, plus we carry service parts and consumables for the full DesignJet line.
Canon imagePROGRAF plotters print color technical drawings and presentation boards. They come in 24-inch through 60-inch widths for different print volumes.
HP PageWide XL printers are built for high-volume technical printing, the kind of output a busy reprographics shop or a large AEC firm runs every day.
What Architects, Surveyors and Contractors Chose
Short summaries of jobs we have written up on our blog. Each links to the full post.
An architect in Shrewsbury had an older Ricoh wide format plotter that made about 50 prints a day. After 8 years of service it was failing. The office needed color, decent print speed, and prints that would not smear when marked up with a highlighter. The KIP C600 uses dry toner, so highlighter markup does not smear the image.
We joined a Ricoh rep at an architect’s office in Red Bank to give additional training on the Ricoh MP W6700SP plotter.
A Monmouth County surveyor chose a pre-owned Ricoh W3601. The office had been cutting and pasting printed surveys to make revisions. We showed how to scan an 11x17 survey to a Dropbox folder from the W3601 and edit it digitally in Ricoh PPDM.
A building contractor in Ocean County moved off a Ricoh MP W3601 after parts availability for it had expired. The contractor needed color for scanning, printing and copying plans in-house, and the Canon TZ-32000 Z36 does all three in one device.
A concrete contractor in Middlesex County had a Ricoh MP CW 2201 inkjet plotter whose print heads needed cleaning almost every month, and their service provider could no longer support it. After the switch to a Canon TZ-32000 Z36 with a built-in scanner, service calls dropped.
